  2. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 tr in same space.
  3.  Ch 2, and work 3tr in the same space.
  4. In the next three spaces, make 3dc.
  5.  In the corner space, make 3 tr, 3 ch, 3 tr 
  6. Repeat 3 dc in next 3  spaces, 3tr, ch2, 3tr corner around.
  7. Sl st to top of starting ch-3.

 You should now have a neat sunflower granny square with 4 corners and even edges.
