The stitch that's used for this

Crocheting the Front Panels (Two
Pieces):
- You will chain
the number of stitches that the three and two stitches indicate for the
width of one front panel. (See below)
- Work in your chosen stitch pattern until you reach the same length as the other side panel, including shaping for the armhole on the side that will be on the side. 23 inches in folded length and 7 inches wide.

What is the Multiple chain of the Three Two Stitch?
The Starting Chain
· Start by making a foundation chain in a multiple of 6+ 2 stitches plus 2 extra stitches for the base chain. For example, if you want a small swatch, you could chain 172 (168+2+2=172)
The steps on how to crochet the Lavender Fields Cardigan Front Side Panels
Row 1: Make a V stitch of (1dc,1ch, 1dc) into the 5th ch from the hook. *Skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 2 ch, V stitch of (1dc,1ch, 1dc) into the next ch, skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 2 ch, Repeat * across until you’ve reached the last 5 chains. Skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 1 ch. 1dc into the last ch. Turn the yarn.
Row 2: Ch3 *skip 2 sts, make 3dc into the next st, make a v stitch into the ch sp of the v-stitch from the previous row. Repeat from * across the row, make a dc into the top of the turning ch. Turn yarn
Row 3: Ch 3, *v-stitch (1dc,1ch,1dc) into the v stitch sp from the previous row, Skip 2 sts, 3dc into the next st. Repeat from * across the row, make a dc into the top of the turning ch.
Repeat
rows 2-3 for the next 10 rows. Fasten off the yarn and weave in the yarn ends.
Follow these steps to make the other side panel.
Sewing the side panels and making the armhole
Fold
one panel in half evenly. Use some stitch markers to hold the panel together in
place Starting from the bottom left, use a yarn needle with yarn and sew through
both stitch loops, continue up 17 inches. Fasten off yarn and continue these
steps with the bottom right side of the next panel.
Crocheting the Back Panel
Start by chaining the number of stitches indicated by the three and two stitches. for the width of the back. (See the pattern below)
- Work in your chosen stitch pattern until you reach the
desired length for the back.
- Continue working until you reach the desired length for
the shoulders.
- Follow the pattern's instructions for connecting the
back panel with the sides (see below)
The steps on how to crochet the Lavender Fields Cardigan Back Panel
For a small size chain 28, for a medium size chain 34
Row 1: Make a V stitch of (1dc,1ch, 1dc) into the 5th ch from the hook. *Skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 2 ch, V stitch of (1dc,1ch, 1dc) into the next ch, skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 2 ch, Repeat * across until you’ve reached the last 5 chains. Skip 2 ch, 3dc into the next ch, skip 1 ch. 1dc into the last ch. Turn the yarn.
Row 2: Ch3 *skip 2 sts, make 3dc into the next st, make a v stitch into the ch sp of the v-stitch from the previous row. Repeat from * across the row, make a dc into the top of the turning ch. Turn yarn
Row 3: Ch 3, *v-stitch (1dc,1ch,1dc) into the v stitch sp from the previous row, Skip 2 sts, 3dc into the next st. Repeat from * across the row, make a dc into the top of the turning ch.
Repeat
rows 2-3 for the next 44 rows. Fasten off the yarn and weave in the yarn ends.
Now it is time to connect all three panels.
Connecting the back and side panels together
Place the back panel in line with
the opening side of the front panel (make sure the armhole is facing away). Starting
from the bottom, use a yarn needle and sew in through the chain spaces. Sew up
until you get to the top. Fasten off the yarn and do the same for the other
side.
Weave in all yarn ends.
