Instructions for the lemon peel stitch:

Chain some stitches that are a multiple of 2 + 1 as a turning chain. To copy what I crocheted, chain 21

Row 1:  Single crochet into the second chain from the hook. *Double crochet in the next chain. Single crochet into the next chain. Repeat *  until the end of the row. In the last chain make a double crochet.

Row 2: Ch 1 and turn yarn, In the first stitch make a single crochet, and Make a double crochet into the next stitch. *Make a single crochet into the next stitch and a double crochet into the next one. Repeat * across the row. Make a double crochet into the last stitch.

Continue repeating Row 2  until you get your desired length. After achieving your desired length, fasten off the yarn and weave in your yarn ends.
